In 2016, Daniel "Attaboy" Seifert began hiding tiny mushroom-themed art pieces in public spaces. This has since grown in a worldwide fungi public art scavenger hunt that has come to be known as "Game of Shrooms".
Daniel's website links out to a Google Map where artists drop pins hinting at the locations of the hidden art pieces, and an Instagram hashtag #gameofshrooms2023 with over 850 posts.
If the art isn't found the day after the event, Daniel asks artists to retrieve their works under the philosophy of leaving no trace.
